With the application package for undergraduate studies, add the following documents::
  • Copies (Xerox acceptable) of all educational certificates.
  • Copies of all transcripts detailing your educational record pertaining to the educational programmes.
  • A statement of purpose giving an account of your motivation for applying to study religion/theology (maximum 500 words).
  • Three recent passport size photos.
  • Copy of your Passport’s identification pages (or of your ID for Croatian nationals).
  • Proof of payment of the 150 HRK non-refundable application fee.
  • One personal reference and one ministerial reference.

With the application package for graduate studies, add the following documents:

  • Copies (Xerox acceptable) of all educational certificates.
  • Copies of all transcripts detailing your educational record pertaining to the educational programmes.
  • A statement of purpose giving an account of your motivation for applying to study religion/theology (maximum 500 words).
  • Copies of all English Proficiency Certificates.
  • Your current Curriculum Vitae.
  • Three recent passport size photos.
  • Copy of your Passport’s identification pages (or of your ID for Croatian nationals).
  • A sample of your academic writing (maximum 5000 words).
  • Proof of payment of the 220 HRK non-refundable application fee.
  • One personal reference and one ministerial reference.

Applications are not accepted until all papers have been received and approved and official notice has been given. No applicant can be admitted who has not received such official notice.

Undergraduate students must have graduated from a four-year high school. Beginning in 2010, they must also pass Državna matura. In addition to submitting documents, each prospective student will have an interview with the ETS programme coordinators.

3) When to apply

Early application is advisable, since enrollment is limited. You may apply as much as one year in advance of the time you plan to enroll.

If you are a high school student intending to enroll in the regular undergraduate program at the Seminary, you may submit your application at the end of your junior year.

Application files must be completed by September 15. Those wishing to have credit transferred from another post-secondary institution must have transcripts sent to ETF and apply by June 15.

4) Obtain your visa

Students who are not Croatian residents must apply at the nearest Croatian embassy for a student visa. The Evangelical Theological Seminary takes no responsibility for the visa, however we would like you to note that obtaining your visa may take up to two months.
