Organizing, cataloging and digitizing archival materials

On 1st February 2010 ETF launched the process of organizing, cataloging and digitizing archival material which pertains to the history of Pentecostal and Charismatic churches, movements and institutions in the wider region of South East Europe.

The goal is to make this material available in digital form to scholars worldwide who are studying Pentecostal and Charismatic forms of Christianity. The material will be accessible through the ETF website as well as the website hosted by the Digital Library of the University of Southern California.

A full time project assistant has been hired for the preliminary sorting out of material available in the ETF archive (and of other available archival material), focusing first on the archival collection of the late dr. Mihael Kuzmič.

The project is supported by the Center for Religion and Civic Culture at the University of Southern California Libraries which has provided initial funding and expertise to start this project.

It is hoped that this project will eventually develop into a systematic and extensive historical/research activity of ETF related to the histories of all minority religious groups in the region. ETF is thus actively seeking personal or other collections of relevant historical material. If you would like to donate your material to ETF for this purpose, or grant access to it so that it can be processed and digitized, we will be glad to discuss your proposal and any queries. ETF is also inviting any persons or institutions with an interest in historical research and data protection and digitization to support financially this initiative.
