Cvjetkova 32, Osijek, Croatia

Global University (International correspondence institute)

This program is intended for those who are actively involved in ministry or plan to be, but cannot study theology residentially. The students use a set of required textbooks, some lectures on videotape, a study guide and specific course assignments, including examinations and the preparation of course papers. Each of the courses has available research material translated in Croatian. Responding to varying degrees of interest in the studying of theology, the program is flexibly divided into two tracks.

The first track is Basic Christian Truths which is intended for those interested in a more serious study of theology. Upon the completion of two years of study the students receive a certificate, which is equivalent to one year of the regular residential course at ETS. The study program follows the ICI (International Correspondence Institute) program, which was started by the Assemblies of God in 1967 and is active in many countries around the world.

The second track is intended for those who want to obtain insight into elementary Christian teaching. The program has been adapted from the ICI program called The Christian Service Program that contains 19 books, many of which are translated into the Croatian language. Upon completion of the program the students receive a certificate for the completion of the first level of the ICI program.

There are currently 83 students enrolled in this program. They come from Croatia, Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

Our vision for the near future is to organize lectures for correspondence students. We also envison translation of quality textbooks from the field of theology, books, which may be used for resident and also for correspondence students.
