Lena and George Hendrickson Library About the Collection The ETF Lena and George Hendrickson Library contains over 70,000 volumes of specialized literature for theological study and research. The core strength of the collection is in the classical disciplines of theological studies, with emphasis on biblical studies. In addition to books, the library receives regularly over one hundred academic and professional periodicals and magazines from Croatia and other countries around the world. An audio-video collection is also available, as well as local access to several electronic databases, ATLA Serials (http://www.atla.com), Old Testament and New Testament Abstracts (on CD-ROM), EBSCO (http://ebscohost.com) and ProQuest Religion (http://proquest.co.uk). On CD-ROM students can access over 10000 electronic titles in various formats (Logos Library, BibleWorks, CCEL, Encyclopedia Judaica, etc.). Future plans include making classes and presentations available to students on CDs and in MP3 format. The Reference Collection The Reference Collection, located in the 2nd floor Reference Room, includes series such as the Word Biblical Commentary, the Anchor Bible Commentary, the New International Bible Commentary, as well as atlases, indexes, lexicons and various dictionaries. There are also other multi-volume reference works such as The Oxford Encyclopaedia of the Reformation, The Oxford Encyclopaedia of the Ancient-Near East, Ancient Mediterranean Civilization, etc. The Archival Collection The library houses archival material relevant to the history of the Church in South Eastern Europe. A project involving the collection, classification and digitization of archival material is in progress.  Our Catalog The library is using an online catalog (http://opac.evtos.hr) with KOHA library software. It can be accessed from dorm rooms, offices or any place with Internet access. KOHA is flexible enough to accommodate the library’s present and future technological needs.
