Try out theological studies for the first time or work towards the completion of your degree!

We are enrolling students for courses beginning October 2, 2017!

This year, we are offering an exciting opportunity for both new and formerly enrolled students to advance their knowledge of scripture and theology, grow in their faith, foster their spiritual formation and develop their ministry skills, all without having to commit for a full year’s study or move to Osijek.

Upon acceptance, both new and formerly enrolled students may register for one or more individual courses, or for the entire year, and in either case may do so with a limited residency requirement (3 weeks per semester). We are also offering a discounted tuition rate this year only! So take advantage of this opportunity to sample one or two of our courses or to fully dive into the complete program.

New Student Registration (1st year undergraduate; 4th year graduate):

  • Students may register for the entire year (60 credits) or on a course by course basis (see attached course offerings for new students), but they may not exceed 30 credits per semester.
  • Registration is open for both resident and non-resident students
  • Both resident and non-resident students may register for the same courses and both are subject to the same course requirements.
  • All courses will be organized through the free Moodle online learning platform. All non-resident students must therefore have reliable internet access.
  • Non-resident students are required to be present at VETU in Osijek for part or all of three weeks per semester, depending on the number of courses taken. For the first semester 2017–2018, these dates are as follows:
    • Oct. 2–5, 2017
    • Nov. 27–Dec. 1, 2017
    • Feb. 19–23, 2018

  • For this year only, all courses will be offered at the following discounted tuition rate (In addition to a one-time library fee of 50 HRK)
    • Language courses 75 HRK/credit
    • Non-language courses 50 HRK/credit

  • Registration Periods:
    • July 31–Aug. 4, 2017
    • Sept. 1–15, 2017.

Program Completion Students:

Students who have begun studies at VETU or elsewhere but have not yet completed a full professional studies program are also strongly encouraged to apply. Upon acceptance, and after a thorough transcript analysis, the VETU academic office will provide a detailed plan for program completion. Courses taken elsewhere are subject to acceptance by VETU.

Note:

VETU remains in the process of re-accreditation with the Croatian Ministry of Higher Education, and is also seeking candidacy for the accreditation of our programs with the European Evangelical Accrediting Association (www.eeaa.com). The credits obtained by students during this academic year are therefore only internally recognized, and students may not receive student rights in Croatia. However, once our programs regain accreditation as we expect, these credits may then be applied to the accredited program upon request.
