Learning Center

Six years in development, the new four-story Learning Center and Lena and George Hendrickson Library opened at the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Osijek, Croatia, on June 10, 2006.

The new learning center (more officialy, the "Learning Center for Mission study in Eastern Europe), offers much needed space for the library to expand, has three new classrooms as well as making much needed space for staff and faculty.

It wouldn't have been possible without God's providence and the gracious donations of many people. In particular, the Hendricksons made considerable financial contributions - Lena Hendrickson's story is made available here.

The library is a full member of CARNet (Croatian Academic Research Network). It regularly updates its computer network programs and equipment. The Learning Center has 35 terminals. Internet access is available in each professor’s office and in all student rooms. The internal network and fast Internet connection allow timely communication between students and professors, which is especially important in the case of visiting teaching staff who live in other countries and even on other continents.
