The Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek is announcing a call for applications for the position of the Dean of the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek (hereinafter: the Seminary) for a term of four years, beginning October 1, 2022.
A person with the Croatian ranking (scientific-teaching or teaching title) of professor, senior lecturer or lecturer may be elected dean of the Seminary.
In addition to the obligations prescribed by law and the Statute of the Seminary, the dean should be in theological agreement with the Apostolic and Nicene Creeds and the Lausanne Covenant. The dean should have a Christian testimony as well as leadership experience, administrative skills, an understanding of financial management, and will be responsible for fundraising, budgeting, and resource management.
In addition to the handwritten application for the position, all applicants should submit in writing and electronically (on USB, in .pdf format), in Croatian or English, the following documentation:
- CV in Europass format,
- proposal as to the work program for the term of office for which s/he is applying,
- a copy of the decision resulting in the election to an appropriate scientific-teaching or teaching ranking,
- a copy of the diploma from the highest level of education achieved,
- a recommendation from the representative of a religious denomination.
The deadline for submitting the application is September 1st, 2022.

Incomplete and untimely applications will not be considered. Persons who submit such applications and persons whose applications do not meet the formal requirements for the position will not be considered as candidates.
Candidates will be notified of the election results within 30 days from the deadline for submission of applications.
